Pottery is offered to any community groups who may like to do anything from one class to a series of classes. We also offer classes to schools and work with companies/organisations to provide Team Building and Awaydays. There is either pottery only or pottery and lunch available.
Youth groups Fairbridge (Salford and Bury), Hideaway and M13 have come to the studio.
“The sessions that Wendy holds with Fairbridge are valuable and constructive for the young people. It develops their skills of communication, patience and the ability to focus for longer periods of time. I really see a difference in a young person’s behaviour whilst being on a session with Wendy, such as their ability to communicate their creativeness or the sheer enjoyment of doing something more calming and relaxing. Wendy’s approach to the young people is very personal, allowing them to think and create for themselves, giving appropriate guidance where necessary.” Christabel Law
We have worked with Cheadle and Marple Sixth Form and Salford City Academy.
“Students have gained in confidence. We thoroughly enjoyed the experience and appreciate the time and effort given by all.” Angela Ellison
“Excellent opportunity for students/young people to learn new skills, which has improved their confidence. Excellent teaching and instruction the students gained massively and unmasked many hidden talents.” Anna Handford
“I enjoyed being able to work on my own and also as part of a team and gaining an experience that I will remember forever.” Student
